PASTA!

  • 2022
  • temporary installation
  • steel pot, fresh spaghetti, tomato sauce, basil
  • 45x100x30cm
  • variable duration

Everyday a pot of fresh cooked pasta lies on the floor of the exhibition. Something seems to have happened, perhaps an accident or an act of rebellion. A phantasmatic movement is imprinted in the organic matter, a falling or a toppling over movement. Its disorienting low materiality embodies a paradoxical form of existence that questions the splendor of waste, the joy of loss and sacrifice.
